Wickenburg Parade & Rodeo

Queens of the Rodeo

The Parade was on the highway into Wickenburg.

The Senior's Drill Team - Senior's every one!

I'm sure that's a real gun!

These two were having a great time. The chickens are stuffed and only look like they are pulling the carts. The people were running to catch up to the rest of the parade.

This is real cowboy country.

Vintage vehicles were well represented.

Shriner's

A local girl sang the American anthem.

Canadian and American flags were ridden in. Some of the cowboys were from Alberta.

Our flag!

He didn't last long.

Never seen this event before. The rider has to rope the cow and the girl has to run up and grab the ribbon off it's tail.

Love this shot.

She knocked the barrel over so an extra 5 seconds was added to her time.

Nasty looking horns on this bull.

All the cowboys wore helmuts under their cowboy hats for this event.

Doesn't appear to have any legs!

These two stood at the side watching the events!
